PolyTruth Privacy Policy

PolyTruth (“we”) is operated by PolyTruth. Contact: support@polytruth.app.

What we collect

Waitlist: your email address, plus a hashed form of your IP address (used only to limit abuse) and a referral code if you arrived through a referral link. Waitlist entries are stored in PolyTruth’s own database on our host’s servers (Fly.io, in the United States). We do not use an email service provider yet; if we add one, we will name it here.
Accounts: your email address, a hashed password, the date and version of the retail-use statement you accepted, a hashed form of your IP address and browser user agent at signup, and a referral code if you arrived through a referral link.
Free checks: if you run an analyzer check without logging in, we keep a hashed form of your IP address with a daily count to enforce the free daily limit.
Cookies: a login cookie (pt_session) and a referral cookie (pt_ref) that stores a referral code for up to 60 days. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.
Stored only in your browser (never sent to our servers): whether you dismissed our disclaimer, and rules text you paste, which this browser tab keeps briefly while you move between pages.
Payments (when Pro opens) are handled by Whop; we receive your email, plan and payment status, not your card number.

How we use it

To run the waitlist and tell you when Pro opens, run your account, credit referrals, keep the service secure, and meet legal duties. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us run PolyTruth: our host (Fly.io) and, when Pro opens, our payment provider (Whop). We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights. If you paste a Kalshi link, your own browser contacts Kalshi directly; that request does not pass through our servers.

Emails

We only email people who joined the waitlist or created an account. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

Retention

Waitlist emails until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them; account data while your account is open plus any period the law requires.

Your choices and rights

Email support@polytruth.app to see, correct or delete your data, or to unsubscribe. If you are in the EU or UK, our legal basis is your consent (waitlist) and our contract with you (accounts), and you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Do Not Track

We do not track you across other sites, and the site works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Children

PolyTruth is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

We will post changes here with a new effective date and email account holders about material changes.
